What’s Medicare Supplement Insurance?

Medigap is Medicare Supplement Insurance that helps fill “gaps” in “Original Medicare”.

Medicare Parts A and B provide insurance coverage for health-related expenses, but they don’t cover all of the health care costs you may have. A Medicare Supplement plan, sometimes called “Medigap,” is a private insurance policy that can help pay for some of the health care costs that Medicare doesn’t cover. This can include out-of-pocket expenses such as co-payments, coinsurance and deductibles.

There are a lot of insurance agents and brokers offering to sell you their own company’s life insurance policies. Infinity Insurance Groupis different. As a truly independent insurance provider, we have access to policies from major life insurance carriers. These options allow you to shop around and find the policy that works best for you.

Why Medicare Supplement Insurance?

The number one reason for purchasing Medicare Supplement insurance is to provide peace of mind to you and your loved ones. Medicare Part A does not cover all of a senior citizen’s healthcare expenses. For example, it provides no coverage for dental care or dentures, vision care, hearing care or hearing aids.

Medicare also does not pay for routine foot care or long-term care. Prescription drugs, for the most part, are not covered by original Medicare. Those fall under Medicare Part D, which has to be purchased separately as a type of supplemental insurance. This means that a senior citizen who needs prescription medications, dental care, vision care or hearing aids would benefit from a supplemental insurance plan.

At Infinity Insurance Group, our clients always come first. We take the time to get to know each of our clients and understand their needs and goals before recommending any insurance solutions. We believe that helps us better serve you, because we’re able to offer a variety of coverage options and solutions to meet your specific needs.

A Customized Medicare Supplement Insurance Strategy

Infinity Insurance Group offers clients a different way to buy medicare supplement insurance. Instead of trying to sell you one type of insurance, one company’s policy, or a specific death benefit amount, we get to know you first. We’ll ask you a series of questions to help identify what your insurance needs are and what type of coverage will best help you meet those needs. From there, we have access to a variety of insurance providers and will work to find you a policy that meets both your goals and your budget.
